About
A unique experience where we share our knowledge of hand collecting, preparing and cooking premium locally available seafood. Our guides, who have decades of experience in coastal foraging, wish to share the secrets and pleasures of this unique activity with a limited number of fortunate guests.
Using expert local knowledge our guides will select a suitable foraging location in the week leading up to your planned Ocean to Plate experience. This decision will be made based on years of experience and knowledge of local weather and seasonal variations in seafood availability. Upon reaching this decision, you will be advised of a convenient meeting location within close proximity to Eden. From here, you will be provided with transport to and from the chosen foraging location.
Once at the location you will be provided with high quality equipment and detailed insights into the theory of sustainable hand collection for seafood. After the theory session, it is time to enter the water. Here, you will be assisted by your expert local guide on your way to gathering the freshest seafood you will ever enjoy.
After working up an appetite, it is time to relax and learn as your guides demonstrate how to prepare and cook the seafood gathered. Watch and/or get involved as you enjoy a selection of locally produced wines, craft beer and other local produce. The end result, the freshest and most memorable seafood meal you are ever likely to enjoy.
