Additional information
What to bring
Please bring a light jacket or garment depending on the weather for your own comfort (recommended Fall through early Spring). Don’t forget to bring your camera, binoculars, sunglasses, and sunscreen! We have cold water aboard for a $1 donation. There is no fee to bring your own food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
We also welcome well-behaved leashed pets and bicycles can sometimes be accommodated upon advance request. Please allow plenty of time to find parking in historic Fernandina Beach.
Cancellations
Cancellation Policy Safety is our top priority. The captain reserves the right to cancel any activity due to weather conditions including heavy rain, high winds, or lightning. Cancellations may also occur if we don't meet our minimum passenger count (10 passengers). Weather-related decisions are made on a cruise by cruise basis up to the time of departure. If you are traveling a longer distance to get here and the weather is questionable, please call our Ticket Office before you head down to the Marina (904-261-9972). In the rare situation we must cancel prior to departure, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule (subject to availability), receive a gift card, or receive a full refund (including trip protection). If an activity is cut short due to severe weather, rain checks will be given to all guests. Full refunds are not available after the cruise leaves the dock, but rain checks do not expire.
Refund and Rescheduling Policy We understand plans can change! You may cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of making your reservation (unless your booking is made within 24 hours of departure). After this 24-hour window, all sales are final and no refunds or rescheduling will be permitted unless you've purchased Trip Protection.
Trip Protection Policy
Trip Protection must be added at the time of purchase. Trip Protection allows for rescheduling (subject to availability) or refund of tickets up to 24 hours prior to departure time, for any reason. Tickets purchased within 24 hours of cruise departure will be a final sale, and non-refundable. Refunds will reimburse for the full amount of each ticket, less the cost of Trip Protection and processing fees.
Trip Protection is voided, and no refunds will be issued if:
- Guest(s) arrive and check into the cruise,
- Guest(s) do not cancel at least 24 hours prior to the departure time
- Guest(s) no show without notification.
If you purchase a ticket for a certain day/time and we do not meet our minimum 12-passenger requirement, you can re-schedule or your ticket may be refunded. Please consider refunding it onto a gift certificate that you can use towards any tour, on any date, and it never expires!
