About

We now offer a second weekend instalment for students who have completed our intro weekend course. In this 2 day class, we will focus on building hand skills with a variety of tools — the tweezers, jacks, and marver. Day one consists of a series of small sculpted objects to build your confidence, including a flower and a bird and on day two everyone will make 3 vases using different techniques to design and shape the glass.

Class size is limited to 4 people so that everyone gets individual attention and enough time to work with the glass. We must have at least 3 people to run this workshop.

Requirements

Must have completed the Glass Blowing Introduction Weekend Workshop 1

Must be 16+

Must be in good physical health and able to move about independently, hear and see well.

Must book at least a day in advance.

What to bring

• Must wear close-toed shoes, long pants, and a shirt made of natural fibres such as cotton, wool, or linen during the lesson.
