Have you ever been curious about crafting your own flameworked pendant?

This is our quick introduction to borosilicate flameworking. It is designed to give you a brief taste create of the medium and the fundamentals needed to become a proficient flameworker. Introducing the chemistry and physics you are ultimately always battling to create your masterpiece in the flame. Our final goal in this class is to create a pendant using the implosion technique

Class size is limited to 4 people so everyone gets individual attention and enough time to work with the glass. We must have at least 2 people to run this workshop. One on One or larger group classes are available contact us for more details.

Note: Hot glass needs 16 hours to cool down safely. Your piece will be available to collect from the following day or postage to you can be arranged for a small fee.

Requirements

Must be 14+.

Must wear organic clothing (nothing synthetic) that covers below the knee and closed-toed shoes.

Must be in good physical health and able to move about independently, hear and see well.

What to bring

• Must wear close-toed shoes, long pants, and a shirt made of natural fibres such as cotton, wool, or linen during the lesson. Don't forget your water bottle.
