On this tour, you will visit three of Waiheke’s top vineyards and sample a range of their wines. Along the way enjoy a commentated scenic drive, learning about the Island’s history, geography, people and culture from your knowledgeable local guide.

After your wine tasting experience sit back, relax and enjoy a lunch and a glass of Waiheke wine or beer at Three Seven Two on Onetangi beach before heading back to the ferry or your accommodation.

Ferry tickets to and from Waiheke

1. Pick up at Matiatia Wharf at 10.40. We recommend you catch the 10am Fullers ferry from Downtown Auckland
2. Wine tasting at Mudbrick Vineyard with stunning views across the Hauraki Gulf.
3. Wine tasting at Goldie Estate. Learn about the history of wine making on Waiheke at this pioneering vineyard.
4. Wine tasting at Te Motu Vineyard. Owned by a local family this small winery specialises in Bordeaux style blends.
5. Lunch of your choice at Three Seven Two overlooking Onetangi Beach
6. Drop off in Oneroa Village or return to Matiatia Wharf at approximately 3.40 pm in time to catch the 4pm ferry back to Auckland

Our guide will meet the 10am ferry as it arrives on Waiheke Island with a signboard. If they ferry is running late, don't worry, we will wait! If for some reason you miss the 10am ferry please contact our office and we will make other arrangements.

If you choose to come over early or if you are staying on the Island please look our for our guide on the main pier. They will have an Ananda Tours signboard with your name on it.

If you are staying on Waiheke, please contact our office at least 24 hrs prior to the tour to arrange a pick up time.
