FAQs
Why don't you meet all the badge requirements for Girl Scout Trail Adventure badges?
While we would love to be able to complete the badge requirements with you, we don't have truly adequate areas to hike on property and do not intend to leave the property. We do go over the majority of the badge requirements and we hope we bring a fun and unique aspect with the involvement of our animal ambassadors!
Is this only for Girl Scouts?
No, anyone may attend! While the Girl Scout badge requirements did inspire us, we also know there are a lot of people who love to hike but we also know each year there are people and pets that suffer heat stroke or other dangers when on trail. We wanted to create a program to educate people on ways to have fun on a hike while maintaining safety for themselves and their pets, as well as being able to admire but respect wildlife.
