Program Summary

Drop the kids off for up close animal encounters, behind the scenes scoops, science experiments, arts and crafts, enjoy all of our educational programs, and rides on the Kemah Boardwalk!


All Camps Include:

At least two fully trained, background checked Aquarium Educators will supervise the children for the duration of the program. Aquarium Staff are trained in Child CPR and First Aid. Camp Counselor ratios are 1 Counselor per 5 Campers.

Rates

Camper (Ages 7 - 12): $285.00
Before Care (1 Hour: 8am-9am): $25.00 per week
After Care (1 Hour: 4pm-5pm): $25.00 per week
Additional Camp T-Shirt: $10.00 per shirt
Plus tax (8.25%) and online reservation fee (6%).

Marine Biologist for a Day (Monday)

Educational Program: Squidy Anatomy
Campers will break the ice and dive into adventure! Somethings fishy on Stingray Reef & Exhibits - it’s up to them to learn the anatomical features of aquatic life. Get ready to get wet as they discover if they have what it takes to be a Marine Biologist for a day.

Animal Husbandry (Tuesday)

Educational Program: Creature Feature
Step into the ‘boots’ of a Biologist with hands-on activities involving animal care and how they survive in the wild with their fascinating adaptations.

Sea Detectives (Wednesday)

Educational Program: Coral Communities
Campers will use knowledge and skills gained throughout the week to step into the role of an animal investigator, piece together clues, and solve a wildlife mystery.

Habitat Explorers (Thursday)

Educational Program: Bustling Biomes
From vibrant coral reefs to dripping rainforests and dry deserts, the habitats of the world have unique characteristics that are important to the animals that live there. Campers will explore these habitats to discover how different animals survive in the place they call home.

Go Wild, Go Green! (Friday)

Educational Program: Rockin’ the Rainforest
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: become a conservation hero! Explore how your actions can make a big impact in protecting animals from danger. Create your own superhero identity, design your super suit, and save the planet!

  • If a Camper has any special needs, allergies, or health concerns, please indicate them during registration.
  • The Aquarium Restaurant can accommodate most special dietary needs (ex. gluten free, vegan, dairy free, and allergies).
  • Aquarium Restaurant cannot guarantee a nut-free environment.
  • Please keep children home if they have a fever, skin rash, cough, runny nose, or any other visible signs of infectious illness.
  • If a child becomes ill during camp hours, a parent or guardian will be required to pick them up within one hour of notification.
  • Aquarium employees are not permitted to administer medication to campers.
