Enjoy a snowshoe walk through the beauty of the Alaskan night! Walk on well maintained and easy trails through black spruce and birch forests under millions of stars and with some luck the mysterious Aurora Borealis. We will take you on an easy hike for about an hour before we come back to our warm and cozy house, 25 miles north of town on a high ridge. While warming up with a homecooked hot soup, we will talk about the Aurora and the science behind it and then go out again to enjoy the dancing Northern Lights.
Transportation from and back to your Fairbanks downtown accommodation is included: pick up will be around 8:30pm and you will be back around 3:00am.
