About

Our rail cars are FULL self-drive – you are in complete control of your rail vehicle – you may stop anywhere you wish to take photographs (or pick up your hat). Our adventure starts from Awakeri traveling at a leisurely 25 kms per hour with family and friends along a piece of historic railway line. The express run has 2 stops en route including hot coffee and tea at our bush restaurant, the express run takes about 2 hours. There are 4 bridges, numerous cuttings, and bush scenes along the track.

Operates in Summer, once a day at 8:00 AM only!
