Montmartre Guided Walking Tour - Private (ENGLISH)
2.5 hrs | Moulin Rouge to Sacré-Cœur | See the real Paris
Overview
Activity details
Visit Montmartre and step back in time to the Belle Époque—a golden age of creativity and excess, when the cancan electrified cabarets and artists lingered over absinthe in all-night cafés. Once a remote village on the outskirts of Paris, the 19th century saw this neighborhood transform into the bohemian and artistic center of the city.
Join us on a private tour and explore the cobbled streets and hidden corners of this iconic neighborhood. Begin at the legendary Moulin Rouge, where your expert guide will reveal the fascinating origins of Montmartre’s artistic and cultural legacy. Visit the homes of Van Gogh and Picasso, see the district’s hidden vineyard, and stop by the charming café where Amélie was filmed. You’ll even meet today’s working artists as you explore the bustling Place du Tertre.
Finally, marvel at the gleaming white domes of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica before taking in breathtaking views of Paris from this incredible vantage point. For an unforgettable experience, join us for an evening tour to watch the sunset over the City of Light (season permitting).
