Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend with a special Afternoon Tea & Baking Demonstration with Bronagh from Bakehouse NI, Cookery School at the historic Springhill House, Moneymore.

This unique event is inspired by Mina Lenox-Conyngham, the last lady of the house before it was gifted to the National Trust in 1957.

Highlights
Baking and Cooking Demonstration: Engage in a one-hour live demonstration showcasing the preparation of a traditional afternoon tea. TAll dishes are crafted using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and Bronagh's own recipes.
Welcome Treats: Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a savoury prelude to the sweet indulgences that follow. They will then relax and enjoy the one hour baking demonstration delivered from Bronagh.
There will be an opportunity to have a house tour as part of this experience to enjoy the historical Ambiance and learn the rich history of Springhill House, often described as "one of the prettiest houses in Ulster," and immerse yourself in the stories of the Lenox-Conyngham family.
This unique event not only celebrates culinary arts but also pays tribute to the legacy of Mina Lenox-Conyngham, known for her storytelling and contributions to the estate's history.

Parking & Arrival
Please park in the Visitor Reception car park, located on the left at the crossroads in front of Springhill. To enter the house, follow the path along the walled garden and enter through the front door. Staff will be there to welcome you and guide you to the venue room on the left.
Please let us know if you would like to do the complimentary house tour and the time.
We kindly ask that all guests depart by 4:30 PM. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to welcoming you!
