Fish Spa Session Information
What to expect:
- When booking a Fish Spa Session, treatment commences by placing both feet into tanks filled with warm water and Barefoot Fish.
- At our Special Events, you have a choice of either 10 minutes or 20 minutes treatment time, during which small fish nibble the dead skin from your feet, leaving you feeling refreshed, relaxed, and like you’re walking on clouds
Your Fish Spa Session includes:
- a health inspection of your feet and lower legs
- washing of your feet and lower legs
- sterilisation of your feet and lower legs
- personal booties
- your chosen amount of tank time with the fish
- post session sterilisation
- paper towel supplied to dry your feet after your experience
- a personalised video and photos of your experience
Who should NOT have a Fish Spa?
- Clients with open wounds, large cuts or abrasions may not be able to participate at the time of their booking. However, they are invited back when their conditions have healed.
- Contagious skin conditions at the time of your booking will not be able to proceed until the condition has cleared.
- Those undergoing current or recent chemotherapy or radiotherapy should be past their 'hot days' period.
- If you have a spray tan, avoid booking your treatment until it is able to got wet.
As your legs up to your knees are submerged into water, you must wear suitable clothing i.e shorts or long pants that can be rolled up to the knee.
Please avoid using any types of lotions or creams on your legs and feet the day of your booking. Nail polish is allowed.
Ionic Foot Spa Session Information
What to expect:
- When booking a Ionic Foot Spa, treatment commences by placing both feet into a foot spa filled with warm water and an array
- The treatment time is 20 minutes
- During your Ionic Spa Session, the water will always change to a brown colour due to salt, water, minerals and purities in the water
- As the arrays activate, you may notice a particular colour present that could indicate the area of your body that was most affected by the treatment
Your Ionic Foot Spa Session includes:
- A health inspection of your feet and lower legs
- Washing of your feet and lower legs (if required)
- Personal booties
- 20 minutes treatment time
- Post session washing of your feet and lower legs
- Paper towel supplied to dry your feet after your treatment
- Treatment session colour chart
- Drinking water provided
Who should NOT have a Ionic Spa?
Ionic Spa Treatments are not suitable for everyone. If you have any of the following conditions, we recommend that you DO NOT use the ionic spa:
- Have a pulse adjuster, pace maker, metal or other electromagnetism devices on your person
- People who have undergone organ transplantation
- Anyone on heart regulating medications (check with staff if you are unsure)
- People who periodically undertake medication that a reduction or absence of would leave them mentally or physically incapacitated (check with staff if you are unsure)
- People who have non-medicated hypertension
- Pregnant women (women breast feeding should not do a cleanse more than once a week)
- People with open wounds on their feet.
- Blood cancer patient
- Anyone who suffers from epilepsy
- People diagnosed with serious illness (not on a regular basis)
- People suffering from fever
- Children under 10 years old
It is also recommended:
- You abstain from drinking alcohol for 24 hrs after a treatment
- Take any medications at least 5 hours prior to a treatment or they can be taken afterwards (check with staff if you are unsure)
Duration:
- Please allow approximately 20 minutes for a 10 Minute Fish Spa Session.
- Please allow approximately 30 minutes for a 20 Minute Fish Spa Session.
- Please allow approximately 30 minutes for an Ionic Foot Spa appointment.
Please arrive 5 min before your booking time.
Late arrival will result in cancellation and given to standby clients. If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible to let us know.
Notes:
- Sessions run three times per hour during special events
- We have limited availabilities, so appointments are essential
- We close for 1 hour during the day for fish resting, no appointments are available during this time
- We are a medical clinic and personal information may be required to be asked at the time of your booking
