The trip starts at Skaland. About 50 minutes by car from Finnsnes. Join in the search for the midnight sun outer Senja.

At Senja we have the midnight sun for about two months. Period: from May to July. Often we can see Bergsfjord take a bath in the summer night’s sunbeams. The fjord is also rich in cultural heritage and has an ideal archipelago with lots of seabirds and seals. A trip worth bringing your camera.

We serve you coffee/tea and cake on one of the beautiful small islands with white beaches in Bergsfjorden.

Guided tours of fascinating history and heritage of the area. Many seabirds such as guillemots, puffins, cormorants and eagles. If we are lucky we will spot the curious seals or small whales.

Boat

The boat is very stable, and is a SIB - that is a rubber boat with a soft base underneath the aluminium deck. This means that it is comfortable to sit on board, and the boat is very well suited to the waters we travel in. We usually do about 20 knots with passengers. The Zodiac is 23 feet long and can carry 4 tons! The engine has 175 hp. The boat has VHF, chart plotter, radar, raft, SART and emergency beacon. Maximum number of passengers: 12 persons.
