BUMP muralists have been transforming this neighbourhood for nearly a decade, with unique and thought-provoking art.
Join one of our passionate tour guides on a journey through art as bold and powerful as the Canadian wilderness; with painted mountain lions, bears and birds that look ready to jump out of enormous walls. Feel inspired by artists' messages to protect our natural environment, celebrate our differences, and fight against oppression. Imagine a new paradigm of Calgary, with images that challenge the stereotypical narratives and iconography of the City.
After 8 years of mural installation and art activations, this tour will ignite your passion for public art. Join us for an urban adventure through the Connaught Neighbourhood, and see the city through the eyes of the artists activating our streets.

Check-in details
Meet at the picnic tables on the west end of Thomson Family Park, 15 minutes before the start of the tour for check-in. All participants are required to complete a safety waiver prior to joining the tour.

This tour includes 3.5 kilometers of walking in the Beltline Neighbourhoods in Calgary. The tour moves at a moderate pace across a variety of terrain such as sidewalks, alleyways, and roads. How Do I Get There?
Thomson family park is located at 1236 16 Ave SW, Calgary.
The nearest bus stop is a 2 minute walk away.
Where Can I Park?
There are several paid parking lots nearby. There is some paid street parking in the vicinity.
It is recommended that tour participants obtain parking for 3 hours minimum or take transit.
Are There Bathrooms?
There is typically a short break at a local cafe half way through the tour, with bathrooms.
Can Kids Come On The Tour?
Children are welcome, with a reduced ticket rate for anyone under 18 years old, and no cost for infants 2 and under. All children under 18 must have a legal guardian sign their participant waiver, and must be accompanied by an adult during the tour.
Can Dogs Come On The Tour?
Dogs are welcome to join the tour if they are well behaved and on-leash at all times. Dog owners are fully responsible for their dog during the tour. A dog who is loud, disruptive, uncontrolled, or dangerous may result in the dog and owner being removed from the tour without a refund.
Can I Catch Up With The Tour If I Am Late?
In order to respect the time of our other guests and to allow our tour guides to focus on creating an incredible tour experience, it is typically not possible to catch up with a tour that has already left. Please let us know ASAP if you are unable to attend or to arrive on time.
Cancellations
Cancellation initiated by BUMP Festival
BUMP Mural tours may be canceled due to extenuating circumstances or unsafe situations, such as inclement weather, at any time. BUMP may cancel tours up to 24 hours in advance due to insufficient ticket sales. Tickets will be refunded in full for any tours canceled by BUMP, in the form of a gift card or credit card transaction.
BUMP Mural Tour guides have the right to end a tour early, in which case a partial or full refund may be given depending on the circumstances. BUMP Mural Tour guides have the right to remove a customer from the tour if they are violating safety policies, in which case their tickets will not be refunded.
Cancellation initiated by Customer
All ticket sales are final. Customers may reschedule their tickets up to 48 hours in advance of the tour using the Fareharbor self-service option. Rescheduling is subject to availability and pricing changes. Refunds more than 48 hours in advance of the tour will be distributed as a gift card to be used on a future BUMP tour. Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance; no-shows; missed departures; and unused services will be non-refundable.
Late Arrivals
We recommend you show up 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Our groups depart promptly at the scheduled time. Arriving 5 minutes after the scheduled departure time will be considered a no-show. If you cannot arrive on time or find the meeting point for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. For most tours it is not logistically possible to join the group after a tour has started.
Extenuating Circumstances
This cancellation policy applies to tardiness and no-shows of any kind, including, but not limited to, tardiness due to transportation delays or cancellations, issues caused by traffic congestion, no-shows due to illness. In case of a delay, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible, so that we have a better opportunity to assist.
