Join the 22nd year of our summer camp program! Children begin camp between ages 5-12 and typically love it so much that Benton Family Farm ends up being their next step as a Junior Counselor!(This is generally after several years of camp and following the guidelines in our handbook. Then it can lead to their first real job as a camp counselor at 14 years old. Camp is open to children ages 5-13, even if there is no experience of farm life before camp.

At camp, we balance work and play, just like living on a real farm. We get to learn the chores of the farm with taking care of all the furry animals! We learn to fish, have horseback riding lessons, team building games, learn archery, walk the calves and goats, sheep shearing, snuggle the baby goats and so much more! We promote leadership and growth with our kids for their future involvement in agriculture and vet science.

We are only offering 5 sessions this year beginning on June 12-13 and running every Thursday and Friday through July 17-18 Farm Camp is now a 2-day camp from 9:45 am to 2:45 pm but expect to stay until 3 pm as campers often will want to show off the animals and farm. Camp is filled on a first come first serve basis, as we only allow 45 children per session.

We do have returning Junior Counselors (green shirts) and Counselors in Training- CIT counselors (yellow shirts) also that we teach during the sessions.
