This relaxing paddle on the lake also imparts vistas of the Camden Hills State Park and Maiden’s Cliff area
About
Camden’s Lake Megunticook offers warm water for kayaking along with beautiful landscapes and fresh water wildlife. This tour begins at the Bog Bridge Public Landing on Route 105 north of Camden. We will look for loons, ducks, osprey, eagles, and turtles as we paddle past the protected waterfront toward the undeveloped shoreline of Fernald’s Neck Preserve. If time permits, we’ll land at Fernald’s Neck where we may see wildflowers, other flora, and birds during a short walk. This relaxing paddle on the lake also imparts vistas of the Camden Hills State Park and Maiden’s Cliff area.
