London is a hotspot for filmmakers who flock to the capital to make everything from TV shows to blockbuster movies. On our Blockbuster London Coach Tour, we will drive you around London, showing you where some of the most memorable moments in cinema were filmed. So, grab your camera and come and join us for an amazing cinematic tour of London.

This 3 ½ hour coach tour starts in the City of London where you’ll see locations that are out of this world, as well as some others that are closer to home. But whether you are warding off Death
Eaters, chasing villains or feeding the birds for tuppence a bag, you’ll be amazed at the number of world-famous films that have been made within the capital.

London is home to some of the biggest on screen names, so you’ll see locations that you’ll recognise from blockbuster movies including James Bond, Bridget Jones, Mission Impossible, Sherlock Holmes, Paddington Bear and more. Some of the tours highlights include the splash scene from the second Bridget Jones film, when Cruella De Vil hears Big Ben bong, when Sherlock Holmes fakes his death, and no London blockbuster tour would be complete without watching one of James Bond’s chase scenes!

As you are driven around, you’ll pass some of London’s most recognisable buildings, including St Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye and that famous clock tower known to many as Big Ben (yes, we
know it’s really called the Elizabeth Tower!) You’ll even find out how one location stood in for New York in the 1790s, St Petersburg in Russia, Pentonville Prison and Devonshire House in Piccadilly among other places.

The tour will include a mixture of drive by locations that you can see from the comfort of the coach, and stops where you can alight from the coach and see the locations up close. Walking is required to see some of the film locations, so please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately, but don’t worry the walk will be worth it when you’re shown some of London’s hidden gems.

Throughout the tour your guide will entertain you with trivia and about the making of these films and behind-the-scenes anecdotes that demonstrate that filming isn’t always as glamorous as it may seem!
