About

Look back at Houston’s history while cruising Buffalo Bayou with a local historian. Your guide will share stories of the Allen brothers and provide historical information about the people, places and events along the bayou that helped shape Houston.

Departure location: 1019 Commerce Street (at Main Street), go down the cascading stairs (on your left of the 3-story brown brick building). The pontoon boat will dock at Allen's Landing.

Weather permitting. Reservations Required.

What to Bring

Dress in weather-appropriate clothing – the temperature is about 5 degrees cooler on the water.

A portion of the boat is not covered. Please wear sunscreen and a hat for sun protection.

A full bottle of water for every person.
