Perfect for young surfers starting their journey, this lesson teaches the basics of catching waves and standing on a surfboard in a fun and supportive environment. Designed for kids to build skills and confidence while enjoying the water!

Itinerary
- Meet and greet - a big hello from our instructor team, We will distribute our top quality wetsuits and instructions for getting changed!
- We meet by the boards just outside the centre and head to the best location on the beach for your lesson!
- Instructors will lead a warm up, safety and equipment debrief before getting you in the water for approximately 90 minutes of learning to catch waves and standing practice!

Special requirements
All participants must be able to swim 50m and we expect all customers to wear a wetsuit when taking part.
Accessibility
Our Surf centre is accessible on ground level and we have disability toilets. Access to the beach is tricky due to a river/estuary and we do not have a beach wheel chair in the centre, however certain disabilities do participate already in our activities so please get in touch with the office prior to booking and we can confirm whats possible.
Disclaimers
All customers will be asked to sign a waiver in advance of lessons or courses.
Customers should advise coast to coast staff of any medications required and any allergies. If a customer requires medication that may need to be taken to the beach during lesson times it is the customers responsibility to ensure it is brought daily.

Cancellations
Cancellation by Coast to Coast Surf School:
Customers will receive the options of an alternative activity on the day, option to re-schedule, a voucher to equivalent value or a full refund if the weather or surf conditions force the class to be cancelled.
Cancellations by customer:
Customers are required to give 1 month notice when cancelling or rescheduling a surf camp or 1 weeks notice when cancelling or rescheduling a lesson or course booking for a full refund to be issued. If you cancel up to 2 weeks before a surf camp or 72 hours before a lesson or course you will be offered 50% refund. If you cancel within 2 weeks for a surf camp or 72 hours for lesson or course we cannot offer a refund. To cancel you must contact the office via email with your booking reference number. For hires we allow cancelling and re-scheduling up to 24 hours in advance. There will be no refunds inside this time period and all no shows will be charged at full rate..
