Description
For 2 hours, our experienced family team will take you safely from Portimão to the Benagil Cave, offering breathtaking views of the various cliffs and beaches along the way. As the sun sets, witness the landscape transform into a unique panorama. The golden hour bathes the rugged cliffs in a warm, ethereal light, accentuating the natural contours and creating a surreal ambiance that defies description.
Depending on the tide level and the state of the sea, we will enter several caves, where you'll be able to admire the colors and textures of the walls and learn about the geology of the coast with a multilingual guide.
On the return to Portimão, we navigate slowly in open waters and as the sun sets on the horizon in front of us, we will witness the sky changing color to shades of turquoise, pink, orange and purple. Toast to the natural beauty of the sunset with a complimentary bottle of champagne, relax and enjoy the view. If you wish, we can also play your favorite playlist on a Bluetooth speaker.

Algar de Benagil
The Benagil Cave, also known as Algar de Benagil, stands as a testament to the geological forces that have shaped the Algarve's coastline and serves as a breathtaking natural attraction for those who visit the region.
This region is characterized by its rugged coastline, limestone cliffs, and numerous sea caves – and the Benagil Cave is one of the most famous and picturesque among them. It is notable for its large sea arch and a collapsed roof, allowing sunlight to penetrate into the interior, creating a captivating play of light and shadow.
The Algar of Benagil was formed through a combination of erosion, weathering, and the action of the sea on the limestone rock. Over thousands of years, the relentless pounding of the Atlantic Ocean has sculpted the coastal cliffs, creating intricate cave systems like the one found at Benagil.

Entry to the caves is conditioned by the state of the sea and, consequently, to the restrictions imposed by the Port Captain of Portimão on the same day, with no possibility of advance prediction.
- If the minimum safety conditions for navigation are NOT assured, the tour will be cancelled and rescheduled for another day, or a full refund will be provided.
- If minimum safety conditions for navigation are met, BUT entry to the caves is prohibited, we will do a coastal tour.
