About

Private Charter Season is March through November. Charter availability depends upon prior charter commitments. Great for fundraisers, weddings, children's birthdays, club meetings, anniversaries, or any other social event with friends and family. Customize your Private Charter to fit your needs! Choose your departure location (Docking fees apply. See below) Tables and chairs can and will be moved around depending on party size. If you have a preferred way you'd like the tables and chairs set up, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you if possible. Open bar or cash bar based on consumption (bar takes cash, card & apple pay), cater or bring your own food for your event and don't forget your best playlists! 

Duration

• 2 Hour minimum for all charters

Hourly Charter Rates

• MONDAY to THURSDAY ($550.00 per hour)
• FRIDAY to SUNDAY ($650.00 per hour)
• If the charter has over 40 passengers, $50/hr will be added to cover additional crew

Docking Fees

• GEORGETOWN, WASHINGTON HARBOUR NW, Washington DC (No docking fee)
• THE WHARF MARKET PIER SW, Washington DC ($100)
• YARDS MARINA Navy Yard, DC ($100)
• ALEXANDRIA CITY MARINA Old Town Alexandria, VA ($500)

Open Bar Prices

• Sodas, Fruit Juice & Water  - $10.00 per person
• Beer & Wine (Sodas, Fruit Juice & Water included) - $30 per person 
• Liquor, Beer & Wine (Sodas, Fruit Juice & Water included) - $40 per person
• DC Sales Tax (10%) and Gratuity (18%)

Catering

• The customer may provide their own catering or Capitol River Cruises can supply a list of preferred caterers.

Payments

• A 50% deposit is required to reserve a date and time. Balance is due on the day of the charter.
• We accept cash, checks, money orders and credit cards (4% processing fee applies)
