Fares above reflect one-way transportation. Taxes and fees will be included at the time of purchase.

Trip Duration

San Pedro/Two Harbors trips take approximately 1 hour & 15 minutes. Trips with a brief stop in Avalon take approximately 2 hours & 30 minutes

Bikes, Surfboards and Paddleboards

Reservations are required for bikes (max 75"), electric bikes (max 75"), surfboards and SUP's (max 9'). All electric bikes must be pedal-assist electric bikes with fully operable pedals. Space is limited. A fee of $3.50 per item each way. Contact our Call Center to add it to your reservation and more information at 800.995.4386.

Catalina Express offers year-round boat service to Catalina Island and the convenience of up to 30 departures daily from ports in San Pedro, Long Beach and Dana Point.

Important Update:

The Catalina Island Company operation in Two Harbors including the Catalina Express ticket window is transitioning to a cashless payment system and will now only accept credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment options (such as Apple Pay and Google Pay) for all transactions. For your convenience, a Cash-to-Card Kiosk will be located outside of the General Store.

Catalina Express will continue to accept cash in the Long Beach, San Pedro, Dana Point and Avalon terminals/ticket windows and on the vessels.

Please note, Catalina Express has a fleet of eight vessels. The vessel featured in the photo above is not necessarily the one assigned for your trip.
