About
Such an incredible, awesome beauty as you journey to the Na Pali Coast. The nai’a - dolphins and porpoises cruising along the catamaran, have your camera ready for amazing pictures. Captain Kamua and Hostesses Makana and Anuenue share the culture and history. As we travel up north towards Na Pali you will see the island of Niihau off at a distance, approximately 17 miles away. It appears just a stone's throw away. You will also be viewing the majestic cliffs, sea caves, and cascading waterfalls as Captain backs up under the waterfall, to get an up close and personal experience. Stopping at a pristine, protected reef of Nu’alolo Kai, to swim and snorkel. At one time, it was an active, productive Hawaiian fishing village. You may see the honu sea turtles swimming in their environment. Snorkel gear and instructions are provided. Foam noodles are also available.
The Lunch:
A deli-style lunch is available, you build your sandwich of turkey, ham, two types of cheeses, two types of bread, green salad with assorted veggies with papaya seed dressing, and for dessert chilled fresh sliced pineapple and vanilla cinnamon cake. Chilled Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and canned assorted juices are available at lunch.
What to Bring:
- Masks are no longer mandated and are optional to wear if you prefer. Health and Safety Measures.
- Make sure to bring a water bottle or a Hydro Flax filled with water!
- Wear comfortable clothing- swimwear, cover-up, shorts and T-shirt. Protect yourself from the sun. Wear a long-sleeved T-shirt and a hat or visor.
- Bring a bag or backpack with a towel and camera.
- Wear comfortable footwear, slippers or sandals. You will be barefooted aboard. If you need to wear footwear onboard, wear your aqua shoes. However, do not walk down with the aqua shoes, it will gather the red dirt. Red dirt and ocean water make for a red paste. Not good for Catamaran Kahanu.
Weather Conditions:
Captain Lani or Captain Kamua, will be your Captain. They are very safety-minded and experienced watermen personnel, so all your comfort, enjoyment, and satisfaction are done with that in mind. Your Hostesses are Makana
and Anuenue will be there to assist you also.
During the winter months, ocean conditions can be adventurers to the Na Pali Coast. Your Captain will determine the places to go for calmer ocean conditions.
