Are you ready to catch the biggest waves and become a pro surfer? Join our thrilling 5-day surf camp for kids aged 6 and up and get ready to ride the waves like a pro! Our experienced surf instructors, NYSP licensed captain, and lifeguard certified camp counselor are here to guide you every step of the way.
With our state-of-the-art inboard wakesurf boat, you’ll have the best surfing experience while staying safe. Our primary focus is on safety and helping you drop the rope, but we’ll also work with you to achieve your personalized surfing goals. Whether you’re a beginner learning to stand up on the board, mastering your first trick, or looking to take your surfing to the next level, we’ve got you covered!
On the water, we’ll take turns developing your surf skills while our captain ensures boat safety. And our camp counselor will keep the fun going with an upbeat playlist, entertaining activities, and snacks and lunch to keep you energized.

Itinerary
At 8:30am, arrive at 11 Lakeshore Dr. and get ready for an action-packed day ahead. First up, join us for pre-surf yoga at 8:45am to get your mind and body in the perfect state for surfing.
Then, at 9:00am, our boat will depart from the marina to take you to the best surfing spot of the day.
From 9:00am to 1:30pm, you’ll be riding the waves like a pro! After an exhilarating morning of surfing, we’ll return to the marina and take you back to 11 Lakeshore Dr.
From then to 2:00pm, join us for a delicious lunch, post-surf yoga, and free swim while your parents or authorized caregivers arrive for pickup.
We are excited to offer extended childcare services after the conclusion of camp! If you need extra time for your child, we are available to provide care at a rate of $50 per hour. Please feel free to reach out to reserve your spot or if you have any questions.

Please arrive at 11 Lakeshore Dr. by 8:30 AM to kick off an exciting day ahead. Make sure to arrive on time to ensure you’re ready for all the fun and action we have planned. If you have any questions before check-in, feel free to reach out.

Additional Childcare Available After Camp
We are excited to offer extended childcare services after the conclusion of camp! If you need extra time for your child, we are available to provide care at a rate of $50 per hour. Please feel free to reach out to reserve your spot or if you have any questions.

Safety is our top priority, and all of our camp staff are lifeguard certified, so rest assured you're in good hands. Plus, we've got you covered with USCG approved life jackets (PFDs) for your protection.

You won't go hungry with lunch and snacks provided, and we'll keep you hydrated with water and electrolyte drinks throughout the day.

Cancellations
To ensure that we provide our customers with an optimal experience, we politely request that guests contact us as early as possible in the event of cancellation or modification of a reservation.
To ensure the safety of our customers and staff, Canandaigua Sailboard reserves the right to cancel any rental, lesson, or experience reservation due to inclement weather. If Canandaigua Sailboard cancels your reservation, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method for that reservation (credit card/gift card/pass), or you may choose to reserve an alternate time/date.
For reservations of four crafts or less and public classes:
Cancellations made outside of 24 hours are subject to a 100% refund of the reservation total or the option to reschedule.
Cancellations made within 24 hours but outside of the same day will be refunded 50% of the reservation total or offered the option to reschedule.
Cancellations made on the same day of the reservation will be deemed a "no-show" and will not be refunded or rescheduled.
For reservations of five crafts or more, off-site reservations, reservations lasting longer than 24 hours, reservations including delivery, summer camp, and other experiences:
Cancellations made outside of 72 hours are subject to a 100% refund of the reservation total or the option to reschedule.
Cancellations made within 72 hours but outside of 24 hours will be refunded 50% of the reservation total or offered the option to reschedule.
Cancellations made within 24 hours will be considered a "no-show" and will not be refunded or rescheduled.
For gift cards, season passes, and all other offerings not listed above:
- All offerings not listed above are considered final sale. For inquiries about specific offerings, please contact Canandaigua Sailboard.
