2 Hour Guided Eco Canoe Tour on Lake Tahoe!


Description:

Immerse yourself in nature as you paddle along meadows, and the South Lake Tahoe shoreline to learn about Lake Tahoe and the array of wildlife that inhabit the region. This 2 hour guided tour will depart from our South Lake Tahoe location and take guests on a relaxing experience in our classic-style canoes.

PLEASE NOTE: Canoes can be seated for 2 or 3 guests. Combined weight capacity is 500lbs per boat.

This tour is suitable for beginners.

Booking Options:

  • Double Canoes are designed for (2) participants in one single boat.
  • Triple Canoes are designed for (3) participants in one single boat.

NOTE: Single booking options are not available at this time. It is recommended that single-riders contact our reservation office and request to be added to a wait list or paired with another single rider in a double canoe

Limitations:
Company policies, age and weight restrictions apply: Guests must be 5 years or older to participate in activity. The total combined weight limit for canoes must not exceed 500lbs. Pets are not permitted on this experience.

A USCG Approved Life Preserver must be worn at all times while on the water.


Recommendations:

What to Wear;
Guests should wear light layers as well as low profile footwear such as water shoes or sneakers. We highly recommend hats and sunglasses while on the water. A light jacket is encouraged any time of year for evening activities.

Please note: While our guests tend to stay relatively dry during this experience, all participants and belongings are subject to getting wet. Clearly Tahoe is not responsible for any lost or damaged items. Electronics and valuables should be left in a safe place.


Instructions:

Check-In;
Guests MUST arrive to our Clearly Tahoe Keys Marina Office 30 minutes prior to scheduled activity for check-in. All participants must be prepared to complete electronic liability waivers prior to departure. Guests who miss their check in may miss their tour and will be subject to same day cancellation policies.

Meeting Location
Our Clearly Tahoe Keys Marina Office is located within the Tahoe Keys Marina in South Lake Tahoe. The office can be found by entering the marina and driving towards the boat ramp. Our office is to the left and can be identified by the "Clearly Tahoe" sign above the door.

ALL GUESTS MUST ARRIVE 30 MINUTES EARLY FOR CHECK-IN


Details for Physical Requirements:

Guests will be required to enter the vessel one foot at a time and lower themselves to a seated position from the marina dock. Guests will be required to sit in an upright position and paddle at a reasonable pace with occasional breaks. Guests should be able to remain afloat with the assistance of a PFD and calmly follow instructions of a tour guide in an emergency scenario.
