This Single Engine Sea course will teach you real-world seaplane flying, covering normal, rough, glassy water, crosswind, and confined area takeoff and landing procedures, idle, step and plow taxiing, docking, ramping, beaching, and sailing. We tailor instruction specific to each pilot and focus on training for real world seaplane flying.

- One-on-one or 2 students max
- Approximately 5 hours of dual flight instruction & aircraft rental for check-ride
- Also counts as a Biennial Flight Review (BFR)!

Excludes
- Check Ride Fee - paid directly to the DPE ($600-$750 depending on availability)

With ideal weather conditions, the SES course should take two days to complete, with the check-ride on the morning of the third day. While most pilots can obtain single engine seaplane proficiency within the 5 hours of included flight time, some may require additional training. Additional time will be billed at the hourly rate.
