You will visit the Yontocket Memorial Site, where you can learn about the native culture and history of the area. You will also see different types of trees, sand dunes, and Kellogg Beach. Your ride will be led by an experienced guide who will keep you safe and comfortable. The ride is mostly at a walking pace, so you can relax and take in the scenery.

Check-in details
- Meet at Trailhead Located at 395 Pala Rd. Crescent City
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your ride to complete check-in, waivers and helmet fitting if necessary.
- Parking is available on-site; follow the signs to the trailhead.
- No Restrooms Available.

Special requirements
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Riders under 18 need a parent or guardian’s consent.
Restrictions
*You need to be able to get on and off the horse with little help from the staff. We have a two-step mounting block to make it easier for you.
- Weight Limit of 280lbs.
- No riders under 6 years of age – No riding double allowed.
- Pregnancy: We do not recommend horseback riding for pregnant women.
Disclaimers
Due to tide activity (especially winter) we are unable to access the beach sometimes. There are still plenty of trails to continue the ride.
In the event of rain we will contact you before your ride. Full refund for rides canceled due to weather.

1. Do I need to have horseback riding experience?
Rides are suitable for beginners and those without past riding experience. Our friendly guides will ensure that you feel comfortable, whether it’s your first time in the saddle or you’re a seasoned rider.
2. What happens if I’m late?
Please call if your going to be late. We may be able to wait a few extra minutes, we don't want anyone to miss their ride. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
3. Can I cancel my ride?
Yes, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your ride for a full refund. You can cancel up to 1 hour before your ride with Trip Protection purchase.
4. Can My child ride on the same horse with me?
No, everyone rides their own horse for safety.
5. Do I have to wear a helmet?
Riders under 18 are required to wear a helmet. Those 18 and over may choose to wear a helmet or not. We have plenty of helmets on site.
Cancellations
Customers will receive a full refund with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
