Duration: 4h

After the introduction and the explanation we prepare 5 dishes:

• Risotto con mele e pancetta (risotto with apple and pancetta, also with home-made vegetarian pancetta for vegetarians)
• Risotto ai frutti di mare (with vongole, shrimp and herbs)
• Risotto al pomodoro fresco for vegetarians,
• Risotto with black rice, tomato and basil coulis
• Risotto con verdure di stagione (with season’s vegetables and cheese) in Spring/Summer or the wonderful risotto con zucca e funghi porcini (with pumpkin and porcini mushrooms) during Autumn/Winter.

Our dessert of oven-baked pears filled with ricotta and chocolate (Autumn/Winter) or ricotta cream with fruit marinated in wine (Spring/Summer) will complete this workshop.

Plus tips on using other ingredients and cooking methods (types of rice, pressure cooker yes or no etc) to make il risotto perfetto so that you can surprise friends and family with this classic Northern Italian dish in all sorts of fantastic combinations.

• Actually, making the perfect risotto can be easy, fast and very, very rewarding if you know how to do it.
• After this cookery workshop you’ll be able to make fantastic creamy risottos in lots of different variations!

• Cooking class, meal/tasting
• Prosecco with nibbles at arrival (coffee/tea for morning classes + Prosecco when it’s aperitivo time), all wines, Italian beers & non-alcoholic drinks

This is NOT a private group activity

  • The workshop will be given in English if there are any participants who don’t speak Dutch.
  • The working recipes are in both Dutch and English. Most teachers speak Dutch.
  • Dietary requirements can be indicated upon booking.
  • The group's size can be between 8 and 12 participants.

Children are welcome from 12 years old on and must be accompanied by at least 1 adult who will also join the experience.
