Hidden Gems of Georgetown
Georgetown, Washington DC
Join us for a special Georgetown tour, featuring exclusive access to the historic City Tavern Club.
Duration
2 Hours
About
Begin in the back garden of the Old Stone House, the oldest building in Washington DC, to join a one hour walk of Historic Georgetown. Learn the secrets behind the stately brick homes, idyllic gardens, and cobblestone streets of Washington's oldest neighborhood.
Then you're invited inside for a tour of a little known gem of M Street, the exclusive City Tavern Club. This private social club, an oasis in the heart of Georgetown, has restored the original 1796 City Tavern to it's former glory. The last remaining Federal-period tavern in Washington, Presidents Washington, Adams and Jefferson all spent time in this storied building.
Each guest will receive a US Capitol sugar cookie, courtesy of City Tavern Club's private chef!
What to Bring
