Two Adventures in One: Paddle Through the Wilderness & Conquer the Canyon Run!
Embark on the ultimate rafting journey through 22 miles of breathtaking Alaskan wilderness, following the eastern border of Denali National Park. Experience the serene Wilderness Run and Canyon Run in one unforgettable trip.
Start with the Wilderness Run, a scenic stretch of Class II and III rapids that winds through Alaska’s rugged wilderness. Relax and soak in the stunning views as you float through this tranquil, natural beauty.
Then, brace yourself for the excitement of the Canyon Run—whitewater ahead! Tackle Class III and IV rapids like “Cable Car,” “Coffee Grinder,” and “Ice Worm.” Paddle through some of the wildest rapids, racing downstream through the heart of Denali’s wilderness.
This is the ultimate adventure where you take control of your own paddles and navigate through both tranquil waters and thrilling rapids.
What's included
For your comfort and safety, we provide knowledgeable guides, rafts, and essential gear. Our dry suits keep you dry, with latex or neoprene gaskets at the neck and wrists, and latex socks to keep your feet dry. You’ll stay warm with your own insulating layers underneath. Neoprene booties are provided for added warmth, helmet, paddle, and a Coast Guard-approved Type V life jacket are included.

What's not included
Please make sure to bring warm layers to wear underneath the dry suit, as well as socks and beanies. The river temperature is around 35°F, so dressing warmly is essential for your comfort. You’re welcome to bring a few snacks along, and there will be a mid-way stop for a quick break to enjoy a bite between the Wilderness Run and Canyon Run sections. Please note, that food and drinks are not provided, so be sure to plan accordingly.

- Raft the Wilderness Section - Class II - III

- Return to the office – We’ll help you out of your gear.
- Gift shop & photo purchases – Grab a souvenir or your river memories.
- Shuttle drop-off – We'll take you back to your starting point.

Check-in details
Arrive 15 minutes early to check in and confirm your completed waivers. Our friendly staff will be ready to answer any last-minute questions and ensure you're all set for an exciting adventure!
What to bring
We recommend wearing warm outdoor clothing in layers (avoiding cotton if possible), a wool or fleece beanie, wool socks, warm gloves, and eyeglass retainers to keep you comfortable and secure throughout your adventure. Snacks and water to drink on your trip!

To help you prepare for your adventure, we offer a selection of gear in our office, including eyeglass retainers, warm and waterproof gloves, wool socks, waterproof phone cases, and some cotton layers for added comfort.
Cancellations
Cancellation Policy
We know plans can change! Here's what you need to know about cancellations:
- Individual Cancellations: Cancellations made after booking will be fully refunded, except within 7 days of your trip date. For cancellations within 7 days or less, there will be no refund.
- Group Cancellations (20+ guests): Cancellations after booking will be fully refunded, except within 30 days of your trip date. For cancellations within 30 days or less, there will be no refund.
Important: All trips depart as scheduled, rain or shine! If we need to cancel your trip and cannot reschedule, you will receive a full refund (minus the booking fee). Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable as per our agreement with the booking platform.

Rafting is an inherently risky activity, and by signing the Denali Raft Adventures waiver, you’re acknowledging the risks involved. Denali Raft Adventures, Inc. and its affiliates are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or expenses caused by delays or cancellations. By participating, you agree to wear a life jacket, follow safety instructions, and listen attentively to our guide’s briefing.
