Our Mother's Day catered brunch menu consists of:
• Tri-tip with horseradish cream
• Waffles bar: original, chocolate and strawberry waffles served with seasonal berries, whipped cream, and maple syrup
• Tropical fruit platters
• Vegetarian cheddar cheese with mild green chili egg bake
• Sausage with diced bell pepper egg bake
• Mixed field greens with feta, candied pecans, sliced strawberries, and raspberry vinaigrette
• Clam chowder bowls
• Caesar salad
• Mini quichesYou can purchase onboard water, soda, beer, hard seltzers, and wine during the cruise.
And of course, Mrs. Capt. Dave’s famous triple fudge brownies are served as a special treat!
About the Cruise
Treat mom to a relaxing 2-hour cruise of scenic Dana Point Harbor, where she can indulge in a sumptuous brunch while enjoying breathtaking views of the waterfront.
Mom will enjoy a delicious catered brunch (see menu above) and live music while taking in the sights and sounds of the beautiful harbor. Fun surfboard tables with bench seats on the main deck provide a comfortable place to dine, and panoramic windows on both sides offer views of the beautiful harbor.
But the pampering doesn't end there—Mom will be delighted to find that her glass is never empty, as unlimited mimosas or Champagne flow freely throughout the cruise. Sipping on bubbly while gliding along the tranquil waters, she can relax and bask in the joy of being celebrated.
Upstairs on the second deck Mom will enjoy the sunshine, refreshing ocean breeze, and stunning views. Relax on the cushioned bench seats or get a drink at the bar.
A vibrant array of birds, including elegant great blue herons and soaring pelicans, often grace the harbor alongside playful sea lions and sunbathing harbor seals. Occasionally, curious bottlenose dolphins glide through the calm waters, while bright orange garibaldi and schools of baitfish add even more wonder beneath the surface!
About the Boat
Hoku Nai’a is specifically designed for passenger comfort and has panoramic views from both the main deck and the elevated observation deck. There are two restrooms available on the main deck.
You will enjoy a beautifully appointed interior with upscale décor throughout the vessel that celebrates Dana Point’s famous surfing culture and recognition as the Dolphin and Whale Watching Capital of the World®.
On the first floor, the main deck is fully enclosed for climate control. As you enter, a lounge area with three sofas provides a comfortable place to relax and chat. Forward of the lounge are plenty of bench seats with tables. Large windows on both sides provide panoramic viewing angles.
Heading upstairs to the second floor, the observation deck has ample cushioned bench seating, and a wooden dance floor, and is covered for added protection from the elements. A full bar is available for purchasing refreshments including water, soft drinks, beer, and wine.
