Come meet our terrific porcupine trio of Meredith, Izzy and George! They arrived at the farm Spring 2024 and are patiently awaiting your visit!

You will be in the room where they live and spend time feeding and interacting* with all three. They adore sweet potatoes, corn on the cob and their special biscuits. A farm team member will be present in the room with you.

Fun Fact: It's a common misconception that porcupines can throw their quills! The quills are just hardened hair. We cannot throw our human hair and like us, porcupines can't throw their quills. They can puff them up to make them look bigger when they are scared - kind of like when we get goosebumps. During these times, if the quills are touched, they can release into an object. When this happens, it feels like a little needle stick.

A total of 5 or more participants (not necessarily all from the same group) is necessary for the activity to run. We will notify you if the minimum is not met.

We want you to have the best experience possible when visiting us. Our #1 policy at Eagle Eye Farm is that our animals come first! Guests will have the opportunity to interact, get up close and pet various animals on the farm. However, we do not promote or guarantee every guest will hold/touch/interact with any particular animal. Our commitment is to offer an enriching, educational, and delightful adventure for all our visitors. However, please remember that the comfort and security of our furry friends will always be our utmost priority.
