Overview
Activity details
Also known as "Macbeth," this powerful and most frequently staged play by William Shakespeare, has been riddled with disaster since it was first staged in 1606. Accidents, riots and even mortal injuries have befallen cast members who dared to speak the name of "The Scottish Play" aloud in the theater.
And yet the unfortunate cast of the Old Vic Theatre failed to take the superstition seriously, and the ensuing strange sounds and happenings prompted the cast to flee. Your group of understudies must solve the mystery before another tragedy strikes. Can you unravel the clues to relinquish the 400-year-old Celtic curse and avoid bringing down further disaster by not uttering “the play that shall not be named"?
Designed in partnership with OSF's artistic team, this immersive adventure transports players into the magical Celtic setting of the "Scottish Play" with multiple sets that surprise and delight. The intimate and changing playing environment is best suited to groups of 6 or fewer but can accommodate groups of 7.
No knowledge of Shakespeare or Macbeth is needed in order to enjoy this game; accessible to all players. Please call for more details.
