GIFT CERTIFICATE FAQ

Before purchasing with Escape in Time - Escape Rooms in Madison, Wisconsin, please review the following:

1. Gift Certificate Terms
Non-refundable, valid for 1 year at promotional value. After expiration, redeem paid value by calling during business hours (Thu-Sun). Not valid online after expiration.

2. Buying Multiple Gift Certificates
Purchase multiple certificates by selecting the quantity from the dropdown menu, adding to your cart, and completing the purchase. Gift certificate codes and further instructions on how to redeem or gift them will be emailed.

3. Using or Gifting Certificates
Redeem codes via BOOK NOW or OUR ROOMS page by selecting a room, date, and time, then entering the codes into ADD REPLAY/GC under each ticket. To gift, print the letter from your confirmation email, add the codes, and email or mail it to your recipient!

4. Physical Gift Certificates
Print an 8.5x11" letter at home and scan/email, or mail to your recipient! For physical gift certificates, call ahead during business hours (Th-Sun) to arrange pickup.

5. Valid for All Escape Rooms (GC prefix code)
Certificates may be used for all of our uniquely themed escape rooms (subject to age requirements) at our Escape in Time facility in Madison, WI, on the west side. These gift certificates can be identified by a ‘GC’ prefix code.

6. Valid Dates (Th-Sun)
Valid Thu-Sun during business hours, excluding major holidays. Check real-time availability via BOOK NOW buttons. Ensure your party arrives 15 minutes early for your timed mission.

7. Age, Chaperone Requirements, and Difficulty Levels
Rooms have minimum age requirements of 7+ or 13+ (due to fear factor & gore), which are strictly enforced for the safety of our guests. Guests under 15 must have a ticketed adult; those not meeting age requirements or without a chaperone will be asked to leave without a refund. Difficulty levels, and other details may be found on OUR ROOMS page.

8. Using PROMO Codes
Apply PROMO codes during purchase by clicking ADD PROMO CODE under each ticket and entering the code. Ensure it is correctly applied before completing payment, as codes cannot be added after booking.

Final Reservations
Ensure your entire group can attend before making reservations, as all sales are non-refundable. Sessions cannot be rescheduled, and refunds are not provided for no-shows or late arrivals.

Disclaimer
Escape Rooms are mental and physical activities requiring 2+ guests per room. Minimum age requirements of 7+ or 13+, and a ticketed adult chaperone for guests under 15, will be strictly enforced. Parents/guardians must assess if the experience is suitable based on content (e.g., gore, guns) and their group’s maturity or accessibility needs.

Content Warnings
Sensory conditions may include non-toxic fog/scents, fake blood/gore, clowns/ghosts, guns/lasers, loud sounds/music, dim/dark lighting, strobe effects (may trigger seizures/vertigo), and color-dependent puzzles. Some areas may be creepy, confined, or require climbing/crawling, and may not be handicap accessible. Contact us during business hours (Thu-Sun) to discuss possible accommodation requests.
