About
To Seamus Heaney Ireland has "no wide prairies nor great forests of native pine".
However we do have - ancient landscapes full myths and stories that have survived from prehistoric times. On this tour, you will hear stories of votive bog body sites and other ritual habitats from expert local guide Martin. The locations that you will explore are rich in folklore, where even the history of how these ancient sites have survived for over two thousand years, are fascinating tales on their own. Martin will bring you to Pagan Wells, Fairy Trees and Standing Stones where you will hear stories that are woven into each of these sacred sites.
