One of the most admired architects of the twentieth century and the great master of Catalan Modernism, the figure of Antoni Gaudí is inextricably linked to the city of Barcelona.
To understand the evolution of the artist and his prolific legacy, we will walk through the heart of the Eixample district, the city extension designed by engineer Ildefons Cerdà at the end of the 19th century, which served as an architectural showcase for the nascent Catalan industrial bourgeoisie.
