West Kennet Long Barrow predates both Avebury and Stonehenge and is an important feature of this prehistoric landscape. Enter the tomb and explore its 5 chambers that once contained the remains of 50 people!4) See Silbury Hill

Will we walk inside the stones at Stonehenge?
- No, we will walk closely around the outside of the monument.
- Walking inside the Stonehenge Stone Circle is limited to a handful of people at dawn or dusk on specific dates only. Please contact Galahad Tours far in advance to enquire.
Are there restrooms at Stonehenge & Avebury?
- Yes, there are restrooms at both Visitor Centres.
How much walking is required?
- Not much at Stonehenge - a shuttle bus will drive us up to the monument from the Visitor Centre - from here it's a flat stroll around the Stones.
- More walking is required to get around Avebury - it is flat but through fields.
- It's a 20 minute gradual incline to walk up to West Kennet Long Barrow
