Gecko’s Xpedition STX is a whole new way to experience St. Croix. On this guide driven interactive tour you will explore the Virgin Island's only Sub-Tropical Rainforest, explore mountain top vistas, visit historical sites, and see beautiful beaches. You will learn about the culture, history and wildlife of St. Croix all from the comfort of a rugged offroad vehicle driven by an expert, highly knowledgeable and occasionally humorous guide.

Throughout the tour, your driver will make several stops along the route where you will be allowed to exit the vehicle to take photos and ask your guide questions about St. Croix. Your guide will share fascinating wildlife and historical facts and point out landmarks and places of interest around the west end of the island. This extraordinarily scenic 2 hour expedition starts and ends at our office in Frederiksted.

Each tour can accommodate up to 5 guests in the same vehicle, so it is perfect for families and larger groups. Young explorers must be at least 5 years old to join this expedition.
