Spend a day of culinary adventure and natural wonder!

This combo tour includes a morning with Alaskan Sights & Bites on their Anchorage Walking Tour – Downtown Food & History and an afternoon with Go Hike Alaska on the Chugach State Park Nature Walk, for a hassle free, pre-planned day of adventure!

Your breakfast-y morning tour runs 9am-12pm, and the interactive nature hike runs 2pm-5pm. This leaves you with time for lunch and/or shopping in-between tours, and has you back by dinner!

Meetup for the morning tour is on the back patio of The Kobuk. Go Hike Alaska provides round-trip transportation from the Egan Civic and Convention Center to the Glen Alps trailhead, and tour time includes the transportation time. These two meet-up locations are right across the street from each other; easy-peasy!

Group sizes on both tours are small, making for an intimate setting between you and your guide! A more in-depth description of both tours can be found below or on their respective websites. This is an all day walking adventure, and guests must be able to walk, unassisted, 3-4 miles over the course of the day. Wheelchairs welcome! We can modify the hiking portion to accommodate your wheelchair, please let us know in the comments section.

Separately, these tours would cost $238 per person, but book a combo tour and pay $211 - that's $27 off a person.

Downtown Anchorage Walking Food Tour

Start your day off right on a walking food tour with Alaskan Sights & Bites. You'll be taken on a downtown culinary adventure, learning Anchorage's storied culinary history - as unique as the state itself! They'll guide you to favorite downtown eateries to sample Alaska's unique local flavors. Yum!

Flora & Fauna Nature Walk

Spend your afternoon submersed in nature, in Alaska's Chugach State Park! Their guides will teahc you all about Alaska's native plants, eddible plants and berries, and local wildlife! The Glen Alps trailhead sits above Anchorage, providing you will panoramic views of Anchorage and the Cook Inlet.
