Golden Beach in Caloundra and the amazing Pumicestone Passage are world-renowned for fantastic, consistent sailing conditions for the timid novice and seasoned expert alike.

Minimum age is 14 years old. Must have at least one 18 year old or above present for each group.

1 hour hire, with Instruction for the first 30 minutes, and 30 mins on your own practicing the skills.

Golden Beach Hire in Caloundra is one of the few places where you can walk off the street and learn how to sailboard or windsurf. The Pumicestone Passage is also a favourite spot for expert windsurfers from all over Southeast Queensland.

We have “Starboard Start” beginner sailboards that allow almost anyone the ability to experience the excitement that sailboarding/windsurfing has to offer. Our easy to understand, personalised instruction sessions will have you sailboarding in no time at all. We also have a range of equipment to meet your needs and help you progress on each visit at your own pace.

Note: Beginner windsurfing/sailboarding is best done in 7-12 knot winds, there is also a 15 knot maximum allowed as stipulated by our insurance provider)
