DETAILS:

October through the end of the year is a wonderful time to venture offshore San Diego, as this is when we have our best weather and calmest sea conditions. The extended time on the water virtually guarantees whale sightings. Humpback Whales will be the main species of baleen whale targeted, with Fin Whales, Minke Whales, Bryde's Whales, and more all possible. We will also have increased odds at spotting rare species like Orcas this time of year as well. When conditions and time allows, we may also stop at our "Great White Shark Park" to search for Great White Sharks as well!

The Vessel

These trips will all be on 6 passenger maximum capacity vessels! There will be a restroom on board for your convenience.

Please note our vessel is extremely fast and can encounter the occasional bump on the open ocean. For this reason, we do not recommend these trips for anybody with back or neck problems. We also do not allow passengers that are pregnant, or passengers that are unable to board and exit the vessel without assistance (call for further clarification).

If you do not encounter whales on your trip, you will receive a voucher for the amount of your ticket price to use towards a future trip with Gone Whale Watching
