Ready to level up your off-road skills? The D.A.R.T. two-day class is designed for both beginners stepping into the dirt for the first time and seasoned street riders transitioning to off-road terrain. Even experienced dirt bikers will find new techniques to master, particularly for maneuvering heavier adventure motorcycles over challenging obstacles. This course starts with the essentials—like balance, body positioning, peg weighting, and clutch control—before moving into advanced skills such as handling hills, tackling off-camber terrain, recovering from hill fails, navigating obstacles, and even towing.
What's included
- Light breakfast with coffee each morning
- Snacks & beverages throughout the day
- Sandwiches, fruit, & veggies for lunch.
- Small moto shop on site for tweaks or minor fixes
What's not included
- Motorcycle (although we have Tenere 700s for rent if needed
- Riding gear. Helmets, boots, and gloves required, while padded protection strongly recommended.
- Lodging (yurts, camping, rv parking, or hotels are available)

Check-in details
Please arrive by 8am each morning for a light breakfast, introductions, and plenty of time to get geared up for kickstands up at 9am.
What to bring
All you need is your motorbike, riding gear, and a camelback/water bladder if you have one. Staying hydrated is key!
Cancellations
For Classes, we ride rain or shine, but understand life happens.
- Refunds are available only for cancellations done within 48 hours of booking. For cancellations up to 3 weeks prior to your class, a credit for a future class of equal value will be issued and available for 12 months from issue date. For reschedules between 3 and 1 week prior to a class, there will be a $250 reschedule fee. However, no refunds or credits will be given for cancellations within 1 week prior to the start of the class.
- If you are unable to complete a class or ride that you started due to physical or mechanical reasons, you may be issued a partial credit to attend a future class or event within 12 months.
If a class or tour is canceled due to weather or an event not within the control of Grit Moto Adventures, participants will be given a credit towards an equivalent class or ride of their choice on a future date.
For Tours, we still ride rain or shine, but understand travel plans may change.
- Refunds are available only for cancellations done within 48 hours of booking. For cancellations up to 3 weeks prior to your tour, a credit for a future class or tour of equal value will be issued and available for 12 months from issue date. However, no refunds or credits will be given for cancellations within 3 weeks prior to the start of the tour.
- If you are unable to complete a tour that you started due to physical or mechanical reasons, you may be issued a partial credit to attend a future class or tour within 12 months.
- If a tour is canceled due to weather or an event not within the control of Grit Moto Adventures, participants will be given a credit towards an equivalent class or tour of their choice on a future date.
