FAQs
For a full list of Heritage Farm FAQs, visit us on our website.
Is food available?
Village Vittles offers a variety of concession-style food. Inside our Visitor's Center, snacks are available as well as a variety of drink options from our soda fountain. What kind of animals do you have?
We have various farm animals, including sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, and ducks. We also have less traditional animals such as llamas, peacocks, and a bison. Our Nature Center features many reptiles, amphibians, and fish native to Central Appalachian backyards. Is the Farm Handicap Accessible?
Nearly all of our buildings are handicapped-accessible, including the three main museums which have appropriate ramps and clearance. We also have a handicapped-accessible restroom in our Artisan Center.
Please note: Our pathways are gravel and may create issues for some wheelchairs. Additionally, the front and back of the village are very spread out, so if you have difficulty walking, this may be a hindrance.
Let us know! We have entertained many guests with different needs, and we value your feedback on how we can improve accessibility in the village! If you have specific feedback or accessibility questions about a particular building, please visit, email, or call the Heritage Farm office.
