L3 - Formats (We recommend completing at least two fundamentals and two specialisations before starting these courses.)
Advanced Short-Form: Master the art of short-form improv by taking familiar games and transforming them into captivating performances. With emotional depth, dynamic object work, and immersive character-driven moments, you'll elevate classic games into powerful, advanced scenes.
Narrative Long-Form: Craft unscripted plays with rich characters, compelling relationships, and cohesive storylines. This course will provide advanced techniques for building narratives, exploring character arcs, and weaving seamless plots to create captivating, ensemble-driven performances.
Scene Play & Montage: Enhance your knowledge of stage play and learn how to better transition in an amalgamation of theme-based scenes in an organised yet fluid format.
Monoscenes: Enhance your ability to build worlds in a captivating form within a singular space and time span. With extensive character development and organic evolutions, this format can bring everything you have learned thus far into one Monoscene.
Improvised Theatrics: Dip your toes into directing and embellishing (improvised) theatre. You will create, refine and discover your scenic vision alongside other advanced players. You might even break the "Forbidden" rule of preparing lines or scenes beforehand. Sign up if you want to go beyond playing scenes and are ready to take on more theatrical challenges.
Acting Skills for Improvisers: Explore different acting methodologies and increase your toolbelt on stage as an improvisational actor.
