Tobago Highlights and Tropical Garden with Hummingbird
Trinidad & Tobago W.I.
About
Our tour brings us to Tobago’s Capital Scarborough and beautiful Fort King George with its astounding panoramic view - we enjoy the beautiful views of the Atlantic side of our island (visit of the Tobago Museum at Fort King George optional). After our drive through the capital we continue to the colorful Botanical Gardens where we take a walk. We then tour cross-island to the Caribbean side, passing through typical small villages. Now it’s on to the 17th century ruins of Fort James in Plymouth where we enjoy another magnificent panoramic view and also visit the “Mysterious Tombstone”.
Another highlight of our tour is a Tropical Garden just a few minutes away from the Fort. The 12-acre nature reserve and farm is noted for its birds, butterflies, iguanas and mangoes/citrus orchards. Over 50 species of bird are known to reside at the reserve, especially various types of hummingbirds. We observe many tiny Hummingbirds at their feeders and take a relaxing walk through a beautiful tropical garden
