How to Cook by Jamie Oliver is the ultimate beginner’s guide to cooking. In just six weeks you’ll go from kitchen novice to confident home cook with our exclusive, live and interactive online course. From getting to grips with knife skills to understanding how to balance flavour, this is about mastering the fundamentals of home cooking from the comfort of your own kitchen.

We’ll start with the basics in kitchen safety and set-up, before teaching you the art of frying, poaching, braising, and roasting, plus how to season, plate-up and a whole lot more. After 12 fun-packed teaching hours, you’ll be rustling up comforting soups, delicious noodle dishes and flavour-packed curries with confidence.

During each session, you will cook along live with your course teacher, as they walk you through a new set of techniques before putting them into practice, meaning you can ask any burning questions in real-time. You’ll also receive a digital course pack, which contains all the recipes you’ll cover, plus useful nutrition tips, health and safety information, seasonal ingredient highlights and more.

Before and after the course you'll complete a short self-evaluation survey, so you can easily measure and reflect on your progress. After just six weeks, you’ll leave with essential kitchen skills under your belt, plus the confidence to tackle dishes you never thought possible.
