Designed for families with children looking to make the most of their time in Seoul, South Korea, this itinerary addresses the challenges of booking and traveling with kids while navigating cultural and language barriers. We've tailored this itinerary to minimize vacation stress. Our tour guides are trained to engage with children, ensuring their safety throughout the tour, rather than serving merely as babysitters. Allow us to manage event bookings, and our staff will accompany you during transactions to streamline your travel between activities. We've incorporated flexible "kids' timeline" slots to accommodate the unpredictability of family schedules. Additionally, we've included evening downtime with activities suitable for both children and adults.

Day 1: Arrival and Welcome

Depending on your flight schedule, airport pick up and hotel check in. We will have a short cozy welcome session to meet your trip guides. In the hotel room, relax from your long flight until you're ready to go to the spa.

Morning and Afternoon optional Spa: Head to a Korean spa (jjimjilbang) for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Enjoy soaking in hot baths, sweating in saunas, and indulging in various spa treatments. There is a food court inside the spa with a variety of yummy food to choose from. This is a flexible schedule time, you're welcome to go anytime and stay as long as you like.

Day 2: Spend a half day exploring Lotte World

Morning: Sleep in and get some rest. Hotel has some really nice accommodations to relax for the morning. Breakfast and then we are headed to Lotte World.

Afternoon: Lotte World - a huge indoor amusement park that features over 40 rides and attractions, as well as plenty of unique shops and restaurants. Enjoy a variety of thrilling rides, roller coasters, pirate ships, and a giant Ferris Wheel. There is also a folk museum and a small zoo, making it great for those of all ages. In addition, visitors can explore Magic Island, an indoor area with a beautiful aquarium, tons of different games, and plenty of photo opportunities. Please note, we will have a staff with your family on this event the entire time for support and translation purposes. They will watch your stuff while you hop on rides.

Evening: Optional Experience Chimaek The word “chimaek” is a combination of the words “chicken” and “maekju,” which means beer in Korean.

Day 3: Changdeokgung palace - the secret garden UNESCO World Heritage Site

Morning: Sleep in and get some rest. Hotel has some really nice accommodations to relax for the morning. Meet up at a local cafe before activities start.

Afternoon: Visit Changdeokgung Palace and its beautiful Secret Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Optional hanbok rentals for picture taking walking the Palace. Really good time to take pictures. There are plenty of restaurants around the area to stop by for a bite.

Evening: Optional: Korean bbq meetup.

Day 4: DMZ Tour Bukchon Village & Karaoke Night

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel. Take a day trip to the DMZ, the world's most heavily fortified border. Visit Imjingak Park, a memorial dedicated to the Korean War. Stand at the Dora Observatory and peer into North Korea through a telescope. Busy mornings, Tours of the DMZ usually last between 6-7 hours.

Late Afternoon: Insadong is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Seoul, and an excellent opportunity for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The highlight of Insadong is the Bukchon Village: a traditional neighborhood with narrow streets and alleys that are filled with antique shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and teahouse

Evening: Optional Korean nightlife with a private karaoke room (noraebang) session can order food. Sing your heart out with your favorite tunes and enjoy drinks and snacks in between performances. NOTE: Might be difficult to hop around with young kids. Another option is we can meet up for dinner at a spot then split the group for adults only for a night out.

Day 5: Visit the Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul Tower With The observation deck

Morning: Sleep in and get some rest. Hotel has some really nice accommodations to relax for the morning.

Afternoon: Quick brunch spots then a visit to the Seoul Museum of Art. You can walk around the museum in 2 hours, although it’s easy to spend an entire afternoon admiring the artwork, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned art lover. Heading to Seoul Tower and the observation deck to cap off the evening there are options for restaurants to grab a bite as well. Toward the evening you can take your time coming down and enjoy the view.

Evening: Optional Enjoy a night out in Itaewon, known for its diverse dining scene and international crowd. Try Korean fusion cuisine at one of the trendy restaurants followed by cocktails at a speakeasy or rooftop bar. Popular dishes to consider; Korean style Detroit pizza or Korean corn dogs or Korean style hamburgers! NOTE: Might be difficult to hop around with younger kids. We can meet up for dinner at a spot then split the group for adults only.

Day 6: Play out at Everland - Complimentary Private Dinner by JoinAfter

Morning: Take your time and enjoy the Hotel amenities. Early start to Everland, the largest theme park in South Korea.

Afternoon: The iconic Everland Theme Park, on the outskirts of Seoul. You’ll find a wide range of exciting activities and experiences, such as outdoor roller coasters, a huge water park, a zoo, and a variety of live shows and parades. There’s also a host of rides, games, and performances, making it a superb choice for thrill seekers, families, and all other types of visitors. The theme park also contains a shopping area, restaurants, and even a luxury spa.Please note, we will have a staff with your family on this event the entire time for support and translation purposes. They will watch your stuff while you hop on rides.

Evening: Optional Farewell dinner hosted by JoinAfter and staff. Private tour group dinner and drinks paid by JoinAfter. Location will be different for every group tour.

Day 7: Departure from Seoul

Sleep in and enjoy a final leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your departure time, you may have some time for some last-minute shopping before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
