Our Hawaiian family takes great pride in sharing the sport of He’e Nalu (surfing or sliding on a wave) with you. All levels are welcome and all surfing lessons are two hours in length.

Hanalei Bay is a great beginner friendly beach for surfing lessons. Join our Hawaiian family for a safe, fun & unforgettable surf experience at the amazing sandbars of Hanalei Bay. The waves are perfect for beginners and usually, the participant will be able to touch bottom.

We welcome surfers ages 5 years and up and offer both private and group surf lessons. However, a private surf lesson is required for ages 5 to 7 allowing our instructors more one-on-one time with the youngsters for their safety in the ocean. During the group lessons, there is a maximum of four students per instructor. All participants are provided with a soft top surfboard, a leash, and a rash guard. All instructors are certified in CPR, First Aid, & Advanced Lifesaving.

• Surf lessons are available Monday through Saturday.
• Lesson starts 30 minutes after check-in time.

• Daily check in times: 7:30 am, 9:45 am, 12 pm, and 2:15 pm
• Group Lesson (2-4 per instructor) Ages 10 & Up - $85
• Semi Private Lesson (2-3 per instructor) Ages 8 & Up - $95
• Private Lesson (1 Per instructor) Ages 5 & Up - $130

Stand Up Paddleboarding (aka SUP) is a super fun way for all experience levels and ages to get out on the water. Hanalei Bay is a great beginner friendly beach for your first SUP lesson. Join our Hawaiian family for a safe, fun & unforgettable experience paddling around the bay, catching some waves, or going for a relaxing paddle up the tranquil Hanalei River.
