Portland is a uniquely curated and permanent 23,000 sq. ft. gallery that features distinctive immersive and interactive installations from over 40 local, national and international artists. We aim to elicit a sense of joy and wonder in the spaces we curate, where our guests may participate in a playful manner and explore beyond their day-to-day reality.

Hopscotch Portland welcomes guests of all ages. Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Adults with children are responsible for their children’s supervision.

Planning your Visit

• If you plan to enter the Quantum Trampoline or Diodic Daydream, socks are required. Please bring socks to participate.
• Purchasing tickets online in advance is required. We do not sell tickets at the door.
• All guests are required to sign a waiver before entering the gallery. A link to the waiver will be included in your confirmation email.
• Hopscotch Portland is cashless.
• We do not have lockers, please travel as lightly as possible.
• Bags may be subject to search.
• Hopscotch is ADA-accessible and Compact strollers are allowed.
• Free street parking is available across the Central Eastside and in the Goat Blocks garage on a first come, first serve basis.
• All guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults with children are responsible for their supervision.

Rules & Regulations

• No outside food or beverage is permitted.
• Bags may be subject to search.
• Tripods, excessive props, costume changes, commercial or product shoots, media shoots, press interviews, and all professional video equipment are prohibited without prior approval.
• Costumes and accessories that obscure a participant’s face or are culturally insensitive are prohibited.
• Pets are not permitted. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
• We do not allow firearms, knives, weapons, or illegal substances of any kind.

• Immersive and interactive installations from over 50 local, national and international artists

• Exhibits are highly immersive and some use strong lighting effects and loud surround sound.
• Due to the complex technology employed, installations may require unplanned maintenance; this may result in the closure of a particular installation.
• Hopscotch PDX reserves the right to photograph visitors on the premises and use photographs taken by visitors within the art space and posted publicly.
