Your adventure starts with a 1-on-1 skills session with your instructor, where you’ll learn crucial skills like breathing underwater, equalizing, regulator recovery, and mask clearing. According to PADI standards, you’ll need to master these skills in a calm and repeatable way before moving forward, so pay close attention during the lesson!

Once you're ready, it’s time for the real fun—your group “fun dives,” where you’ll explore vibrant coral reefs, come face-to-face with exotic marine life, and uncover some of the ocean’s coolest hidden gems—all in the privacy and comfort of your own tour. After the dives, your instructor will share the amazing photos from your experience, both underwater and on the boat, so you can relive every moment.

Sun Protection is Key! ☀️
The Hawaiian sun is no joke, so be sure to bring:
-Towel(s) (Trust us, you'll thank yourself later.)
-Rash Guard or Long Sleeve Sun Protection (Highly recommended for those long sunny days!)
-Reef-Safe Sunscreen (Only zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, please! Our eco-friendly fave is Stream2Sea.)
-Secure Hat (Bonus points if you bring a bucket hat and match Instructor Stocky’s! 😉)
-Sunglasses (Because squinting isn’t part of the adventure.)

Stay Hydrated! 💧
Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. No worries if you forget—reusable bottles will be available on board!

Layers for Comfort 🌬️
While Hawaii is typically warm, the ocean breeze can surprise you. A windbreaker or light jacket is a good call, especially during the winter or breezier days.

Your Own Gear (Optional) 🥽
If you’ve got a personal snorkel or dive gear you prefer, feel free to bring it along! Otherwise, we’ve got top-notch gear ready for you.

Sea Sickness Tend to Get You? 😷
If you're prone to seasickness, we recommend taking medication the night before and again about an hour before departure. A smooth ride means more fun!
